The line we built in
Not a toggle — a property of the code. There is no auto-submit tier to buy or mode to unlock. The final click on every application is yours.

Sign-in credentials you save live in your browser's local storage only — the extension can use them to sign you in on job sites, but they are never sent to Handoff's servers, never placed in an AI prompt, and never included in diagnostics. Everything else (your resume, visa status, salary expectations) is encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold, and yours to delete.
Sign-in secrets stay in your browser
Credentials you save are held in extension-local storage, used only to sign you in on job sites. Any outgoing payload shaped like a secret is rejected before it can be sent — enforced by tests, not policy.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
TLS on every hop, encrypted Postgres behind row-level security, and your rows are readable only by you. It is not end-to-end encrypted — we read your answers in order to fill them in for you.
Never sold, never trained on
We make money from subscriptions. Your data is not sold, not shared for advertising, and not used to train models.
Delete it whenever you want
Access, correction and deletion on request. We are not SOC 2 certified and have not been independently audited — when that changes, this line will say so.
